*Thank you everyone that came out to enjoy great weather and companionship for the 7th Annual Corbin Hastings Memorial Day Ride!  You have helped raise over $12,000 to date for the SIDS Network of Ohio!

-Next event: 8th Annual Corbin Hastings Memorial Day Ride/Run.
When: 8AM Monday, May 27th 2013. Rain or Shine
Where: Alum Creek State Park main beach area
What: Ride options 18, 50, and 100 miles.  Run options: 5k

More info:  This is a charity event with all proceeds going to support SIDS Network of Ohio.  The ride is a non supported ride (ie roads are open to normal traffic and there will be no sag wagon on the course).  All traffic laws must be followed and riders are responsible for their own food/water/support during the ride.  There is a convenient store along the bike course where riders can stop and purchase food/drink if needed.

The 5k run takes place on the roads and trails within the park.  In the case of rainy or wet weather, the trail section of the run will be replaced with a road section that will contain a short segment along Lewis Center before entering back into the park.  The run will be an out and back with 1 water stop at the turn around.

The bike routes take place around Alum Creek with the 100 (and 50) mile course looping out through Johnstown and back to the start/finish for refueling.  The 100 mile ride will then head back out for a second loop.

There will be water, bagels, fruit and other foods available at the start/finish for both the ride and run.

Registration details will be posted soon.
