From the beginning of his racing career and through college, Jonathan spent part of each each year specifically focused on a single discipline, whether it was swimming, cycling, or running.  The other part of the year, was spent combining all three in training and competion.

This was his process through college which provided the jumping off point to a successful professional cycling career which inlcuded qualifying for and competing in the Olympic Trials.  Following the Olympic Trials Jonathan put his focus on multisport and quickly climbed into the professional ranks.

You'll still find Jonathan competing today, but much of his focus is now on helping his athletes acheive and surpass their goals for training and competion.

The Coach

Jonathan Hastings comes from
a true multisport background.

Competitively swimming at age
8, competitively running at age 12,
and competitively cycling at age 14.
Jonathan combined all three disciplines
to compete in his first triathlon and
duathlon at 14.

At 16, Jonathan was stepping onto the podium with the likes of pro triathletes such as Mike Pigg and wrapping that duathlon/triathlon season up with his 3rd All-American double ranking in as many years of racing.
